Ideas for Small Pieces >*** Skill level: Ideal for beginners but will still challenge experienced painters This seminar covers a wide variety of techniques that can also be effective on larger pieces, but we work on lots of small things ( boxes, ornaments,etc ) to give everyone a chance to try out all the different techniques. The emphasis is on lusters although I also cover some painting ideas. See pix on the right to see some of the techniques covered. Portraits Skill level: no previous portrait experience needed.I will work step by step ..but china painting experience needed This seminar will cover portrait techniques with the completion of a pretty girl. Emphasis is on how I translate a photo into a painting, how to capture a likeness. Some pieces will additionally have emphasis on decorative techniques like dichroic glass fusion.Class will all work on the same piece. Family Portraits Skill level: requires some previous portrait experience This seminar is more intense than the portrait seminar.
