All porcelain is handformed , embossed ,glazed and once-fired to cone 6 which forms a rich glaze bond that is as silky as bone china.

It is extremely thin, lightweight and translucent,( including the large plaques) and very white ( not grey or cream ) .... takes overglaze beautifully and refires very shiny at normal overglaze temperatures ( 018 - 015 )

EACH PIECE IS ONE OF A KIND. There will be no other exactly like it .

The lettering is embossed into the wet clay, then covered with black underglaze . The dry clay is then carefully scraped back to reveal the lettering before being covered with glaze.
